Post Fixture Manager (Jakarta)

The Post Fixture Manager performing the shipment calculation for FLF and T&B based on Commercial dealing and monitors the timely issuance of invoices and collection of receivables. He/She has a sound understanding of operational issues and their implications and serves as the contact point for complex claims, handling disputes related to them and ensuring adherence the to the Organization’s risk management procedures. He/She is adapt at negotiation and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate.

Job Description

  1. Ensure the fixture note/contract is concluded according to proper interpretation of charter party clauses and shipping term/practice (acknowledged by Commercial)
  2. Verify and ensure accuracy the data (Draft of Survey, Barge timesheet, Statement of Fact, Barge movement, vessel timesheet from stevedore)
  3. Monitoring, checking and ensuring all vessel’s invoices have been issued accurately based on contract.
  4. Verify detention and laytime calculation cost, hire statement and ensure that all details activity are tally and accurate based on contract.
  5. Assisting Finance to handle collecting AR from customer for outstanding payment
  6. Negotiate and finalized charter party claim disputes
  7. Manage compliance to risk management framework, policies and processes
  8. Analyse reports on post-fixture activities. Circulate the report with eligible amount to all related party.
  9. Oversee resolution of issues arising from post-fixture issues
  10. Acquire and allocate resources to support post-fixture activities.

Requirement

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Maritime Studies (including Nautical Studies, Maritime Transportation), Candidates with Marine Accounting background are encouraged to apply
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experiences in the Shipping/Maritime Industry handling coal transshipment commercial operations and laytime calculation (demmurage and dispatch). Has experiences in Post Fixtures Manager or Ship Operations would be an advantage
  3. Have an in-depth understanding of charter parties and their various clauses
  4. Have good understanding of formulation and finalization of port disbursement accounts
  5. Have good understanding of lay time statements, and shipping documents
  6. Have knowledge of marine insurance covers.
  7. Good interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
  9. The position will be based in Jakarta

Marine HSSE Officer (Kalimantan)

The Marine HSSE Officer is assigned responsibility for overseeing the company’s vessel operations, reliability and performance. This includes :
  • Assist DPA and HSSE Manager to monitor ISM and ISO implementation by identify, manage and mitigate operational and financial risk of all company’s owned and managed assets.
  • To ensure all assets are operated and maintained with a high regard for HSSE by inculcating a greater sense of awareness of among sea and shore staff.
  • Conduct inspection and investigation. Ensure timely notification and submission of all reports.
  • Analyse all findings and root causes for lessons learnt
  • Implement Marine Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental (QHSE) protection activities to the company’s fleet and HQ, and ensure that at all times in full compliance with the international standards (ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001) and the company standards.
  • Work closely with all concerned departments and advise on vessel operational status, safety, repair, and Safety matters.
  • Review all HSSE results for corrective and preventive measures and to enhance further improvement
Requirement
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Maritime Studies (Marine Certificate Class II/ANT-II)
  • Minimum 2 years sea service experiences and/or preferbly 4 years with related shore experience in Shipping company or Marine Offshore Industries.
  • Have SMK3/AK3 Certificate
  • Familiar with ISM Code, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
  • Have ability in auditing and investigations of accidents
  • Communicate and work well with office and vessel personnel
  • Basic marine operational and engineering knowledge
  • Good command in English both in written and verbal
  • Willing to be placed in Samarinda or Banjarbaru

Tug & Barge Port Engineer (Samarinda)

Job Description

  • Do monthly inspection and evaluates of marine equipment.
  • Input and updating schedule job, vessel inventory, machineries running hour through to bassnet system
  • Processing all spareparts requisition received from vessels and monitoring the efficient and timely supply of all equipment required for the proper maintenance and safe operation.
  • Maintain and coordinates repair of machinery and equipment for installation on vessels
  • Review and evaluation quotation to select the contractors and location in order to ensure that cost are economically sound based on the best quality of work or cost relation.
  • Ship docking arrangement, prepare dock space, repair scopes and quotation
  • Implementing the specifications and repairs effectively and efficiently to the owners favour in a timely manner, avoiding any delays to the commercial schedules.
  • Supervises maintanance personnel and crew members and trains them for routine and emergency duties
  • Maintain records of technical departments activities including expense records and details of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Act as liasons between Vessels Captain and engineers in order to ensure that schedules and budgets are maintaned and that vessels are operated safely and efficiently.
  • Monitoring all aspects performance of assigned vessel operation including safety and environmental protection etc  to ensure that these are carried out in compliance with the requirements for efficient, competitive and customer focused operation.
Requirement
  • Min. Marine Engineer Class 2 (ATT-II)
  • Have experiences min.3 years in related field
  • Strong hands-on experience of vessel engineering and maintenance
  • Has good knowledge in ship management/ship maintenance and classification surveys
  • Has good skill in dry docking plan and arrangement
  • Preferbly, has certification on Engine room resource management, ISM Code course, Marine coating course, maintenance program course, and high voltage training
  • Good skill in Ms.Office (Ms.Excel and Ms.Word, Ms.Power point) and outlook email.
  • Good command in English both in oral and written
  • Willing to be placed in Samarinda, East Kalimantan
